She has the distinguished title of ARN Fellow Designation (FARN). She has a passion for caring for the medically underserved populations in community clinics. She has extensive experience in leadership development, palliative care, end-of-life care planning and ethics, medical case management, long-term mechanical ventilation in the community care setting, and home health care for high-risk and technology-dependent patients. She speaks at national and international conferences on many topics and has published extensively over her career. She is dedicated to caring for our veterans and their families in appreciation for their honorable services. In 2012, Reed began teaching full-time at Azusa Pacific University. As a community member, she continues to serve on hospital and community health center boards and committees so that she can be aware of the needs of patients and providers.
