Enroll as a Mentor or Coach

Thank you for serving your fellow Sigma members by enrolling as a mentor or coach!

Reminder: Career mentors are engaged with mentees for long-term relationships (six-month commitment with an option to continually renew relationship agreement). Career coaches are available to help with a specific project, and this role requires a commitment of three months or less.

Complete your enrollment by making selections for each of the demographics below to set your preferences. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for mentees to find their best match.

By completing this application, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the Career Mentoring and Coaching Program from the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.

Terms and Conditions:
Indemnity. Participants in the Career Mentoring and Coaching Program hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sigma for any claims, injuries, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, or settlements, including all reasonable related costs and expenses such as attorney fees, arising as a result, whether direct or indirect, of any asserted or implied obligation of said participant stemming from any act, omission or obligation of or by such participant or its agents, employees, or subcontractors resulting from their participation in the aforementioned program. 

Participants agree to complete the evaluations throughout enrollment in the program.

What's Next?

Be sure to hit the "Save" button, above, to complete your enrollment. Next, as a Mentor or Coach, you can "Search for a Mentee" that may be best suited to you or you can simply sit back and wait for a potential Mentee to request a match from you. If and when this happens you will receive an email notification. You will then need to review the Mentee’s profile and assess if you will be a good match for this Mentee. If so, agree to the match and begin your dialogue.
